Meet the Founder - Christian Helbig's ADHD Journey
I'm Christian Helbig, the founder of NeuroGlow by NAS, and I live with ADHD.
For most of my life, my mind felt different: fast, creative, intense, and often misunderstood. Getting my ADHD diagnosis helped me understand that what I once saw as a flaw was actually a strength. Like many adults with ADHD, I spent years masking my neurodivergent traits before finally embracing them.
How NeuroGlow Was Born
NeuroGlow started with that insight, and with my daughter.
One day she came home upset. She told me how many kids at her school were being judged, teased, or dismissed simply because they didn't "fit in." Some had ADHD, others were autistic, and many were just beautifully different. She wanted to do something about it.
So she drew a picture — the very first design that ended up on a shirt.
That moment became the spark that shaped this entire ADHD clothing brand.

Why I Created an ADHD-Focused Brand
As someone living with ADHD, I know firsthand the challenges of:
- Time blindness and why traditional planners don't work
- Sensory sensitivities and the need for comfortable clothing
- Executive dysfunction and the struggle with daily routines
- Hyperfocus being both a superpower and a challenge
- Feeling misunderstood by a neurotypical world
I also know the incredible strengths that come with neurodivergent minds: creativity, innovation, passion, and a unique way of seeing the world.
NeuroGlow exists to make neurodivergent people feel seen, proud, and unapologetically themselves. Every ADHD awareness t-shirt, every focus tool, and every other products we offer is chosen or designed with real ADHD experience in mind, not guesswork or stereotypes.
From Personal Experience to Community Movement
What started as one father's desire to help his daughter stand up for her friends has grown into a movement. Today, NeuroGlow serves thousands of neurodivergent individuals across the globe who are tired of hiding, masking, or apologizing for who they are.
